The Patience Band is a group of six talented musicians, with each member bringing unique contributions from their musical roots and directions. Because of these musical influences, the band plays a wide variety of genres (see Sample Set Lists) and often tailors its performances to best fit the audience and occasion. The Patience Band’s most recent performances include public outdoor concerts, benefits for various causes and private parties.

The band is a collective, with song arrangement, harmonies, musical mix and structure all a result of collaboration among the group. While The Patience Band covers a lot of music, its distinct treatment and arrangements result in a fresh and original sound.

The band has rapidly built its performance toolset, including its own PA and sound mixing, and stage lighting capability. We can work with venue-provided stage tools or come completely equipped.

While the band began playing together in the summer of 2012, members of The Patience Band have been playing together in several iterations for many years.

John and Tom played together as part of an acoustic folk group in Milwaukee in the early 1970s. Tim and Chuck performed together as the infamous Les Deuce Punks during their high school years at Saint Paul Academy. Tim, Chuck and Mark played together in a classic rock cover band for several years prior to the formation of The Patience Band. Tim and Alexa currently perform together in The Dead Kings Of Norway.
